12:15 - 12:30: Keynote: Murray Izenwasser: CMO & VP, Digital Transformation at AAJ Technologies
• Topic: "Big Data? How about Enterprise Data first?"
• Summary: Everyone is focused on Big Data to drive insights and create redefined businesses, processes and models, all in the name of Digital Transformation. And there is real value in creating Big Data systems, approaches, and analytics to find business trends and correlations, and create systems that can prevent diseases, combat crime, drive sales and marketing, and so much more. But most organizations can get a massive return by focusing inward and consolidating your own Enterprise Corporate Data. By bringing all your disparate data sets and remote datastores together, a 360-degree view of your customers across the enterprise will emerge, regardless of the internal or external touchpoint. It’s not easy, but it is definitely doable. By focusing on your corporate data as a first step in your Digital Transformation process, you will not only create the platform for all your other transformational initiatives, but you will also drive real-world top and bottom line revenue, increase customer and employee satisfaction, and improve processes throughout the organization. The presentation is based on actual case studies and real world approaches to achieving one global, enterprise-level view of your customers to drive your business.

Finally, we'll draw on our experiences working with corporate clients to give best practices when founding Data Science Centers of Excellence that drive grassroots data science mindset adoption.

• Topic: "Leadership and Positive #ChangeAgents in Exponential Times"
• Summary: As a result of advances in digital technologies, our world is changing exponentially with impacts on how we work, play, and live. There are no "just IT" projects anymore – only mission or business projects with "IT baked-in." This represents a crucial shift in mindset. In addition, whereas the motto in Silicon Valley might be “fail fast and fail often,” such a model is not going to work for public service or large established organizations. The only way such existing organizations can gain the expertise needed to respond to and take advantage of the digital disruptions occurring globally will be to do “dangerous experiments” as positive change agents, akin to what entrepreneurs also do. This keynote will share insights from how positive change agents -- leaders who “illuminate the way” and manage the friction of stepping outside the status quo -- can be cultivated and championed across organizations to make the necessary digital transformations to thrive in our exponential times.

Growth rates in general were much smaller than in the cloud, however investment levels by clients were much higher. Additionally most of the data clients wished to leverage was stuck behind their firewall. IBM needed to look at Growth differently. Leveraging Growth Hacking techniques, IBM was able to accelerate growth with both a mature product and in a low growth market.

• Topic: "If you are not mobile-first, you are not customer-first"

The customer smartphone is on 24/7, and they use it at a rate that’s always trending upward. This session will teach you how to do whatever you have to do to motivate your company to adopt a mobile-first, customer-first marketing strategy.
